Miss Earth 2007, historic one for Coron

A first - ever for the Miss Earth Pageant, a historic one for Coron.

Twenty-seven young, talented ladies from a group of 90 contestants representing the seven continents of the World were hosted by Coron during their stay last Nov. 11-12.

The Miss Earth competition intends to work on a six-year earth saving campaign. This is the reason why their activities include visiting of nature parks. Their stay in Coron started with a motorcade. It was followed with Coron Island tour, Boat excursion, Kayaking at Kayangan Lake, Barracuda lake, Twin Lagoon, Skeleton Wreck, Siete Pecados Marine Park. The photo taking was done at Maquinit Hot Spring and Banol Beach, Pre-swimsuit competition at Busuanga Island paradise.

Each of the Miss Earth contestants was given by Mayor Mario T. Reyes, Jr. a rainmaker for a souvenir.

We believe that this occasion marked another milestone towards a more progressive and getting more popular town of Coron.

REFLECTION

Here comes the last day of my training in ICT Integration and Web Technology, i be must enjoy creating webquest although it is a worst part for me in my training because of doing a lesson plan using a webquest, making an output, but inspite of that, i learned a lot about webquest, and im very thankful again to Ms. Ging Pangilinan and Ms. Eden Samadan for being a good trainors to the trainers, for their untiring effort to teach to every one.

WEB BLOGS

"As i can say this is 2nd terrific day of my training in ICT Integration, which is the WEB BLOGS, it's a very interesting part that i really should know being a computer teacher, to create my own web, showing that in the coming generation, now i know how to teach a web blogs in my students...."

Using Web Blogs- can create thematic scavenger hunt based to the subject that you can teach, it can do some question for the students or the other information you want to search, can upload picture from your list,or video from the Webpage. Identify various form of blogs, like friendster, or other URL. can create your own blogs using other MSOffice tools. like MSPowerPoint using presentation in your blogs.
